Fire Detection Systems

Intruder alarms and CCTV cameras all help to deter thief’s or catch a person committing crime, but FIRE can be one of the most devastating things to a business, from both the loss of important documents to the loss of lives.

That’s why Bellit Security’s fire alarms and protection team added the installation of fire alarms to our services almost 20 years ago.

Today’s fire alarms are much more intelligent and encompass many variations in fire detection, they can be individually address (point ID) so you know exactly where the fire alarm has been activated making it quicker and easier for the fire brigade to deal with the potential fire.

Fire alarm systems can be independently monitored or can share monitoring with the existing intruder alarm system.  This allows the fire alarm to send signal to a third party receiving centre who will be able to action the alarm and contact the fire brigade.

Our Risk Assessor will survey your premises and design a fire detection system which complies with all current fire alarm regulations and standards, specifically:

• BS 5839-6: 2004

• BS 5839-1: 2002

The installation of your fire detection equipment will be carried out by our trained engineers. They will ensure your system is tested and will set up a central station for monitoring of your system.
